On October 13, the delegation headed by H.E. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, visited Mashtots Matenadaran. Accompanied by Vahan Ter-Ghevondian, the Director of Matenadaran, the guests toured the museum building and, with great interest, got acquainted with the study of medieval Armenian literature, the manuscript heritage of Artsakh, as well as the Matenadaran’s foreign language manuscripts, including those made in India. The delegation was also introduced to old Armenian books printed in Madras and the Armenian periodical “Azdarar”.
