Russian film director Mikhail Melik-Agamalov, inspired by the Matenadaran’s “ Homecoming of the Manuscripts” campaign, donated a late-19th-century edition of Псалтырь (Psalms) to the Russian-language collection of the Matenadaran Library.
Accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, Prince Dani Badawi, a representative of the Badawi royal dynasty, and Grammy Award-winning singer Mohombi visited the Matenadaran. Prince Dani Badawi presented to the Matenadaran an Akkadian contract inscribed on a clay tablet dating to 1750–1712 BC.
