During their visit, the high-ranking guests were given a tour of the Matenadaran Museum and the Department of Restoration by the director, Ara Khzmalyan. The guests could view the newly opened exhibition dedicated to the Iranian-Armenian painter Andre Sevrugian, as well as Armenian and foreign language manuscript exhibits and restoration works of manuscripts.
Towards the end of their visit, Ara Khzmalyan presented the results of the visit of the Matenadaran delegation to Iran in January 2024 and the joint programs implemented in the year. Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour acknowledged the contribution of Matenadaran to strengthen Armenian-Iranian cultural ties, particularly in the preservation of written heritage.
