Today, the delegation led by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella visited the Matenadaran after Mesrop Mashtots. Accompanied by the Director of Matenadaran Vahan Ter-Ghevondyan, the President of the Italian Republic toured the museum complex of Matenadaran and got acquainted with the Armenian manuscript heritage. At the end of the tour, the President Sergio Mattarella made a note in the book of impressions of the famous visitors of Matenadaran. Delegation led by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella is comprised of Enzo Moavero Milanesi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of Italy, and other officials.The President of the Italian Republic arrived in Armenia on a two-day official visit at the invitation of RA President Armen Sargsyan.
