As part of the International Day of Museums on May 18, Mashtots Matenadaran invites you to attend several events.
The day is a symbolic reminder of the valuable contribution of museums to education, culture, and heritage preservation. This year, ICOM has chosen the theme “Museums of Education and Research”.
On the occasion of the holiday, Matenadaran will be open until 6:00 p.m.
The museum will be closed from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for an extraordinary performance by the little artists in the Matenadaran yard.
At 7:00 p.m., the exhibition of foreign language manuscripts of Matenadaran will officially open.
At 8:00 p.m., the “Saghmosergu” male sacred music choir will perform a concert program. Soloist Erik Aloyan will perform at 8:30 p.m.
Matenadaran will be open until midnight on May 18, and free admission will apply to all visitors.
