The First International Armenological Congress will occur from July 19 to 22, 2024, at Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran.
The congress will feature various events; for example, a conference, book presentations, round table discussions, a cultural program, and a “Book Awards Ceremony,” the first international Armenian book expo-fair.
The Armenology book expo-fair will showcase publications from the last five years by approximately two dozen public and private publishing houses, museums, and various institutes from Armenia and the Diaspora. The International Armenology Book Awards Ceremony aims to recognize and celebrate studies in the field of Armenology through publications.
The “Book Awards Ceremony” will be held on July 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. adjacent to the Matenadaran museum building.
Visitors can explore and purchase new and valuable books on Armenian studies, medieval studies, historiography, art studies, manuscript studies, theology, literary studies, linguistics, medicine studies, chronology, oriental studies, law, and economic history.
