By the decrees of the president of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, Movses Khorenatsi Medals have been awarded to the following individuals:
– Valentina Calzolari: Professor of Armenology at the University of Geneva and President of the International Association for Armenian Studies (AIEA)
– Christina Marants: Professor of Armenology at Harvard University and President of the Association for Armenian Studies (SAS)
– Professor Michael Edward Stone: Founder of the Chair of Armenian Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and co-founder and honorary president of the International Association for Armenian Studies (AIEA). Professor Stone received the Medal of Gratitude.
