On October 15 of this year, the Matenadaran Museum will open a new exhibition entitled “The Radiant Mission of Matenadaran.” The event is organized within the framework of the 13th annual international scientific seminar, “The Faces of Memory.”
The exhibition symbolically confirms the exceptional role and mission of Matenadaran in the restoration, as well as the reliable interaction formed with partner structures.
The exhibited items, including manuscripts, paintings, archival documents, autograph works, and many other objects, have been restored through the consistent and continuous improvement of the professional skills of the restorers at Matenadaran. They were brought from various institutions such as the National Gallery of Armenia, house-museums of Yeghishe Charents, Martiros Saryan, Aram Khachatryan, Orbeli Brothers, Gohar Bagyan Zerrahyan, Saryan family, Aram Abrahamyan, Lori-Pambak Museum of Regional Studies, Hovhannes Tumanyan, Yervand Kochar, Russian Art Museums, and Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.
