

Ivet Tajaryan, Head of the Matenadaran Museum and Senior Researcher in the Department of Oriental Studies, along with Greta Gasparyan, a Researcher in the Department of Medieval Art Studies and a Postgraduate Student, conducted research at the Archives and Manuscript Depository of the Holy Savior Monastery in New Julfa from January 26 to 31 of this year. Ivet Tajaryan focused on studying the Shah’s edicts, Persian decrees, and archival documents about the New Julfa community. Meanwhile, Greta Gasparyan examined several manuscripts written and illustrated in New Julfa related to her PhD dissertation.
