Matenadaran together with the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences organises the fourth conference “Text, Commentary and Interpretation: Problems of Commenting on Ancient and Medieval Texts”. The papers may concern interpretations of ancient and medieval texts and their individual passages in relation to textual criticism and palaeography, linguistics, history, literary studies, and philosophy, as well as critical reflection on the commentary tradition, from antiquity to the present day.
The languages of the conference are English and Russian. Please fill the registration form and send the titles and abstracts by August 15 to the mentioned address. The conference will be held at Matenadaran on November 4–6, 2025.
