At the initiative of Matenadaran and in accordance with an agreement reached in 2024, an Armenian Corner has been established in the National Library-Archive of Iran. This space will periodically feature works on Armenology and Iranology, as well as host book presentations.
A memorandum of cooperation was also signed, outlining the directions and goals for collaboration between the two institutions.
RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, emphasised the strengthening ties between the two major organisations and expressed her commitment to supporting programs that enhance their partnership.
Additionally, Ara Khzmalyan, the Director of Matenadaran, invited his Iranian colleague to participate in the 3rd International Congress of Armenology, which is set to take place at Matenadaran in 2026.
