Within the framework of the 3rd International Armenological Congress, a two-year agreement was signed between Matenadaran and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to ensure the continuation of work on creating the Consolidated Manuscript Catalogue. The unified catalogue will present scholarly descriptions (manuscript catalogues) of the Armenian manuscript collections and items held at Matenadaran as well as at various manuscript centres, libraries, and museums around the world. This will substantially enhance the visibility and scholarly circulation of Armenian manuscripts dispersed worldwide. This project marks a groundbreaking milestone in the history of the culture of Armenology and creates broad opportunities for engaging the international scholarly community in the study of these manuscripts.
