The delegation comprises Tatev Muradyan, Deputy Director of Development; Khachik Harutyunyan, Chief Curator; and Sona Baloyan, responsible for International Relations. Director Ara Khzmalyan heads the delegation.
On September 21, the Matenadaran delegation is taking part in the International Association of Bibliophily (Association Internationale de Bibliophilie, AIB) congress in Geneva, held this year in several Swiss cities from September 20 to 27. The congress program includes visits to renowned Swiss libraries and private collections, as well as professional meetings and lectures.
The Matenadaran’s participation in this prestigious international forum represents a significant opportunity to establish new professional contacts, develop collaborations with private and institutional collections, and form new partnerships to identify and study Armenian manuscript heritage held abroad.
The visit is being carried out under the sponsorship of the “Zover Construction” organisation.
