On October 29, a delegation headed by Samuel Mollalign, the mayor of Dessie city of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, accompanied by Satenik Zirekyants, the head of the Department of Africa and Middle East of the RA MFA, visited Mashtots Matenadaran. Accompanied by Vahan Ter-Ghevondian, the director of Matenadaran, the guests toured the museum building and got acquainted with the study of Medieval Armenian literature, the manuscript heritage of Artsakh, the collections of foreign manuscripts, including Ethiopian manuscripts and talismans, as well as the newly opened exhibition entitled “Facing the Past for the Future: Restoration in Armenia”.
