An exhibition titled “Cherished Names. Homecoming of Manuscripts” was held in Matenadaran, featuring exclusive collections of manuscripts, archival materials, and old printed books donated by significant donors.
The return of a valuable manuscript concluded the day. The collection of Mashtots Matendaran was enriched by the addition of the Gospel, copied by the Presbyter Hovhannes, donated to Matendaran by the philanthropist Vahe Badalyan. The philanthropist’s son, Roman Badalyan, received the first “Matenadaran Philanthropist” Gold Medal on behalf of his father.
