During their visit, the director Ara Khzmalyan accompanied them, and they toured the exhibition halls of Matenadaran. They also visited the archives and the Department of Restoration.
The director mentioned the upcoming elections for the Director General of UNESCO, to which Khaled Al-Anani was nominated. On behalf of Matenadaran, he wished him successful results.
Additionally, the main provisions of the memorandum to be signed with the Library of Alexandria in Egypt were presented. These provisions refer to high technologies, research works, and educational programs.
Ambassador H.E. Mrs Serenade Mohamed Soliman Gamil and Mr Khaled Al-Anani expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and exceptional impressions. They also expressed their readiness to provide practical all-around support in the deepening ties with cultural and scientific institutions in Egypt.
