During his visit, the President toured the exhibition halls of the Matenadaran Museum, where he got acquainted with the work of the digitization and restoration departments and even visited the manuscript depository.
The RA President was presented with the program of diversification of exhibitions, with the research works carried out with international partners in digitization and the modernization of the material and technical base of the restoration and digitization departments. The Matenadaran directorate reported on their mission trip to Italy from April 5-10 and the goals and expected results of the first international Armenian studies congress, which will be held in Matenadaran on July 19-22.
The President commended the reforms implemented in Matenadaran and wished success to all initiatives.
