Approximately three dozen researchers from various educational institutions in Armenia and abroad (including Romania, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Israel, and France) presented their work during the three-day conference. The reports covered different topics in medieval studies, including manuscript studies, source studies, philology, art history, and historiography. Some presentations highlighted the importance of digital humanities within Armenian studies. Khachik Harutyunyan, chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the conference’s significance and noted that many younger researchers from previous conferences are now successfully advancing their studies, having defended their PhD theses and taken on teaching positions at universities in Armenia. Vahe Torosyan, the deputy director of Matenadaran for scientific affairs, acknowledged the importance of the International Conference on Medieval Studies, stating that it holds a permanent place among Matenadaran’s international events related to Armenology. He assured that all the efforts would expand the geographical diversity of future participants. The conference received support from the “All Armenian Foundation Financing Armenological Studies” and Professor Barlow Der Mugrdechian, head of the Armenian Studies Program at Fresno State University.
