Accompanied by Director Ara Khzmalyan, the guests toured the Matenadaran Museum, visited the Department of Restoration, and learned about the processes involved in restoring and preserving old manuscripts.
Minister Aida Balayeva praised the scientific and exhibition activities of Matenadaran, as well as its efforts in preserving written monuments. She emphasized the importance of establishing comprehensive cooperation with relevant organisations in Kazakhstan.
At the invitation of the Director of Matenadaran, restorers from Kazakhstan will also participate in “The Faces of Memory” seminar in the fall.
