JTI ARMENIA DOUBLES FUNDING FOR MATENADARAN PUBLISHING PROGRAMS

On June 3, 2025, a new cooperation memorandum was signed to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the partnership between Matenadaran and JTI Armenia. With the support of JTI Armenia, approximately seventy significant scientific works have been published. Matenadaran has also updated its publishing policy to enhance the popularisation and international recognition of Armenian written heritage. In his speech, Ara Khzmalyan, the Director of Matenadaran, highlighted the importance of partner support and the potential for expanding future cooperation. Thomas Adams, the Regional General Director of JTI Armenia, expressed his gratitude towards Matenadaran for their collaboration. During the event, guests toured the Matenadaran Museum, where they visited the manuscript restoration and archive departments. Additionally, Matenadaran awarded the company the newly created “Medal of Gratitude” for the first time.
