As part of the Days of Georgian Culture in Armenia, a delegation led by Georgia’s Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze, visited Matenadaran. Accompanied by Director Ara Khzmalyan, the guests toured the Matenadaran Museum and explored Armenian written heritage. In the hall of foreign-language manuscripts, the minister paid special attention to the Georgian manuscripts on display.
The delegation members were also introduced to the process of restoring old manuscripts. Minister Rukhadze expressed her appreciation for the scientific exhibition activities of Matenadaran and praised the Armenian school for its efforts in preserving written monuments.
