THE COOPERATION AGENDA WITH THE LEADING CENTRES OF FRANCE IS EXPANDING

Ara Khzmalyan, the director of Matenadaran, recently visited the INALCO Foundation and the National Archives of France with the heads of partner structures. During these meetings, they discussed upcoming programs related to research, education, and the preservation of written heritage. Khzmalyan proposed enhancing collaboration in Armenian-Medieval studies by incorporating more external professional expertise through joint efforts. He also presented the results of the International Armenian Studies Congress and invited the director of the National Archives of France and restoration specialists to participate in future initiatives. A visit to the archives was organised as part of the international seminar “Faces of Memory,” which will take place at Matenadaran in 2025.
