JULIA ANN ORVIS, A DONOR TO THE SUSAN WELTY ORVIS FUND, WAS AWARDED THE MATENADARAN MEDAL OF GRATITUDE
In advance of the International Congress of Armenology, Kamo Mayilian, a businessman and representative of the Armenian community in Toronto, presented his book titled “Vigour and Grace in a Crazy World: Humanitarian Work in Talas, Turkey 1908-1923.” Mayilian is the author behind the initiative to publish revealing missionary archives and also served as the translator
