As part of the exhibition “The Sun is Rising: The Matenadaran Garden Vision,” an educational program was conducted for children aged 10 to 14 years old.
Throughout the program, entitled “Envisioning the Bioscapes of the Garden,” participants engaged with the exhibition and, through collaborative activities, explored the garden’s bioscape using mapping, creative expression, and structured discussion. The programme prompted children to consider which plant species cultivated in the nurseries of the Armenia Tree Project might be suitable for introduction into the garden’s sloped terrain, what terraced pathways might define its spatial organisation, and what meaningful connections could be established between the city of Yerevan, the museum, the medieval manuscript heritage, and the garden — for the benefit of both young and adult visitors to the Matenadaran.
