THE WORKSHOP TITLED “SCRIPTURAL KNOWLEDGE TRANSMISSION AMONG EASTERN CHRISTIANS IN THE EARLY MODERN OTTOMAN WORLD” HAS LAUNCHED TODAY AT THE MATENADARAN

A lecture was delivered by Tijana Krstić, Board Member of the Cluster of Excellence EurAsia and Professor in the Department of Historical Studies at Central European University.

Professor Krstić is a leading historian of the early modern Ottoman Empire. She is the author of important publications, including her seminal book “Contested Conversions to Islam: Narratives of Religious Change and Communal Politics in the Early Modern Ottoman Empire” (Stanford University Press, 2011).
