On November 9, 2024, Foundation President Philip Advani and Executive Director Arno Geneva, who is also a docent at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO), along with Anna Leiloyan-Ekmalyan, the scientific director of the “Hishatakaran” NGO, toured the departments of Matenadaran. They explored the new exhibitions, the digitization and restoration departments, and the works of the newly established laboratory for biochemical research on manuscripts. At the end of the tour, the guests discussed potential areas for cooperation with the Matenadaran director, his deputies, and other relevant officials. These areas include training specialists, restoring written heritage, and conducting joint scientific research. Philip Advani emphasized the possibility of Matenadaran becoming an international platform for collaboration in these areas and expressed a willingness to work together on a subject program for cooperation. He also conveyed an official invitation to the director to visit the Foundation in November.
